Last month I traveled down the green brick road to The Emerald City, AKA Rotterdam, for Buma festival. Celebrating hip hop music and the individual trades that make the genre so fucking amazing, Buma Rotterdam Beats combines seminars in the day and shows during the evening in bars around the city.
Piff Gang and Szjerdene represented for the UK and Queens’ Action Bronson headlined, even if he was the last to know. It was good to be see their shows in particular as Piff Gang are my boys from way back and Szjerdene was in the year below me at school.
