I can’t live with a chipped nail.

It sounds dramatic but if you know me personally, you’ll 1) Know that I’m a drama queen and 2) Know that my nails are always taken care of. I may occasionally have no make-up on and messy hair, but not a day goes by without my nails looking good.

For years I’ve used gel nail varnish on top of my natural nail but these past six months I’ve added a layer of gel powder under the gel colour. It’s probably not much healthier than a crack habit but it makes my natural nails underneath super strong and allows me to grow cat-like claws, which if I’m really honest is my sole aspiration in life.

Like most nail schizophrenics, I only have 2 shades of choice; nude and grossly offensive neon. I also don’t believe in square nails and find them mildly disturbing, therefore I always have almond shape claws.
