1. What’s the meaning behind your name?
Deniro Farrar, there isn’t one. Farrar is my last name.
2. What other names have you had?
None, I have always had Deniro Farrar.
3. Which song of yours would you first want people to hear?
I would want people to hear Free Tune. It’s a track off the new mixtape, The Patriarch 2. It’s a very personal track. The track is produced by The KickDrums. I talk about my life and the things I have [seen] people do in my life. Also, the fact that my brother is locked up. It’s a pretty personal song to me. Also, my fans get a chance to hear Tony aka TUNE’s voice from jail on the phone talking to me. He’s the reason why I do this, he’s my motivation, plus my family. FREE TUNE.
4. Who was your Hip Hop idol growing up?
2Pac will always be my idol. [Also,] Charles Manson because of his cult ideas. He might [have] been a pretty crazy person to everyone else but he is very smart in my eyes.
5. Which musician would you most like to work with?
The musician I would like to work with would have been 2Pac.
6. If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing instead?
I honestly don’t know, because this is all I have – more than likely doing something I don’t love.
7. What’s success to you?
Doing what I love to do and being happy doing it. Building new fans, making good money from it, my team being straight and family happy.
8. Which country produces the best food and women?
I think so far, it has to be New York. When I was there for CMJ last year, there was just so many different types of women, lots of different cultures and people just love to have fun and interact with one another.
9. What’s your vice?
Your dreams [won’t] come true unless you work hard for it.
10. What’s your favorite animal?
My Yorkie, he’s a pretty protective dog. He’s a beast and bites people for no reason. Kinda funny really.
