Helmut Newton is one of my favoruite photographers of all time, I once cried because I missed out on seeing an exhibition of his in Paris. Maybe a little dramatic.

For the eighth day in my 12 Days of Christmas guide, I’ve selected a book of his, Helmut Newton by Helmut Newton. Originally published as “Sumo,” the book was almost human height and became the most expensive book published in the 20th century. This copy is smaller, and cheaper, priced at £67 here.
