I’m not really into the whole novelty Santa thing, I never really have a Christmas outfit but I do like the idea of having a rap related Christmas jumper. It would be nice to be gifted one for Christmas so I thought I’d include one in my 12 Days of Christmas countdown.

The best one I’ve seen is the jumper Nas created as it’s in support of the NFL player Colin Kaepernick who showed immense support for the Black Lives Matter movement. During the national anthem, Kaepernick knelt down and refused to sing as an act of protest. I completely respect the courage he had to do this. I also like the fact that Nas is supporting him, as he got into so much trouble and received a huge amount of backlash for standing up for his beliefs in this way.

This jumper is cool as it has an important 2016 social aspect as well as it being a dope Christmas jumper. Likewise, Sean Price’s family have released a Christmas jumper after he passed away last summer. It’s a great jumper for the season as it is very clearly for fans of Sean Price and all the proceeds go towards his family.

Those are the only two novelty jumpers I would actually wear, as besides them, there aren’t many I would consider! I also wish they would come in Goldie’s size so I could put her in a matching one.
