I started wearing Tom Ford perfumes exclusively last summer and honestly, I’ll never go back. The smell is intense and very sexy, regardless of which scent you choose. I started off wearing Black Orchid, then invested in White Patchouli as my second fragrance from Mr Ford. Eventually I began mixing the two, leading one of the members of 808INK to tell me I smelt like “an erotic ocean,” which may be the best thing I’ve ever been told I smell like.

This Autumn I decided to invest in Velvet Orchid, on a whim because the woman in Duty Free told me too. And it was a great choice, I’ve never been complimented so much over a fragrance I’ve worn. People ask me, “What are you wearing?” with an intense stare, I’ve been called “enchanting,” I’ve even had a colleague tell me that I’m not allowed to wear it to work because he was going to fall in love with me.

On the whole, these perfumes are unforgettable, if you’ve ever read the book Perfume, these scents have a similar effect to the one created at the end of the novel. They contain essential oils, which adds to the mystique and also explains why the scent is still on your skin the morning after.
