DillanPonders is yet another Toronto artist trying to explode off atmospheric, emotional Hip Hop backdrops. Don’t dismiss him; he stands tall on his own with psychedelic, hazy verses and he selects some of the best production in the game.
In his newest video for MDMA, a track off the incredible Overdose, DillanPonders takes the viewer on a drug-fueled rollercoaster. Innocent eyes swallowing pills and chugging fourties. Madness holding hands with chaos. Hotel hookups and regrets. Amidst the calamity and blurred reality, Ponders remains cool and calm in the video, grinning a little while looking like the baddest dude in the room. Look out for an upcoming EP in November.
