Honestly, I’m still regularly listening to Earl Sweatshirt‘s 2015 album, I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside. But last night, the cult MC released a short EP out of the blue. Titled, Solace, the project is dedicated to his mother. With Earl explaining, “We set up a studio in my house and I did a little project real, real fast. It’s called “Solace.” It’s more for my mom…If I got some shit that my mom likes, then I’m straight. I beat the case (laughs).”

Stay tuned for the Spring Summer 15 issue of my magazine, Viper, with a cover story starring Earl and Vince Staples, shot by Mike Miller.
