July 4th marks the public launch of Nina Manandhar’s exhibition in Dalston, Money On My Oyster.

As co-founder of youth-led magazine The Cut, as well as the ISYS ARCHIVE, the new exhibition serves as an accompaniment to the release of Nina’s debut photo book, a collection of five years of street culture and youth style in London as documented by city native. ‘MONEY ON MY OYSTER’ is the culmination of a 5 year photographic odyssey around London by photographer Nina Manandhar. Using the camera as a tool for navigating the city that is her hometown, Manandhar explores the potential for photography as a way of getting to know it’s inhabitants and a catch a glimpse into their hidden lives. ‘MONEY ON MY OYSTER’ is Manandhar’s first photobook. The 82 page book is an anthropology of the local, a tour of chance encounters through zones one to six and back again.
