PYREX STIRS IS THE HOME FOR UNDERGROUND CULTURE IN LONDON. SHOWCASING THE MOST EXCITING NEW HIP HOP, R&B AND URBAN ARTISTS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE.

Our next event takes place on April 14th at Junction House, Dalston, with a headline performance from Jevon and support from Central Cee and PYREX STIRS DJs. Brought to you by Viper Magazine in cooperation with Goldenvoice UK, the event caters to the influencers and creators pushing boundaries in the city’s underground scene.

Both Jevon and Central Cee are bubbling in the UK music scene, with cult fanbases and industry buzz making them the ideal artists to showcase at PYREX STIRS. With a house party atmosphere, our line-ups consist of the best DJs and performers in the urban music scene. Showcasing music in its truest form via live performances, we aim to nurture the development of new artists early in their careers. In the last six months performers at PYREX STIRS have included DJ Premier, Khalid, CASISDEAD, Belly Squad, Jesse James Solomon and Cas Jones.

Jevon:
GRM Daily called him “something like New Gen’s secret weapon” and Jevon has quickly become one to watch. Kicking off 2017 with his standout track on the NEW GEN album, ‘Man Of The Hour’, Jevon followed it up with a feature on Cadenza’s ‘Hijack’ EP. The track, ‘Glory’, with hotly tipped artists, Young T & Bugsey, was premiered by Julie Adenuga on Beats1. Originally from West London, the multitalented rapper, singer and producer now resides in Coventry.

Central Cee:
Central Cee is an unsigned rapper, writing heartfelt lyrics with deep rooted meaning. Hailing from Shepherds Bush, he was just 16 weeks old when he first heard the loud bass line coming from various sound systems and floats at Notting Hill Carnival. He’s only missed one carnival since. Since that early introduction to music, Central Cee found a love for old school hip hop thanks to his dad and would spend days making up rhymes with his friends wherever he would go. His love for words and rhymes has lead him on this musical path.

PYREX STIRS:
PYREX STIRS was created by Viper Magazine; a print and online publication catering to fans of hip hop culture.
