Brooklyn rapper Lil’ Cease has said in an interview that The Notorious B.I.G. didn’t allow him to meet Michael Jackson because he didn’t trust him around kids…
In a recent appearance at Cipha Sounds Presents: Take It Personal, Cease spoke candidly on some of the experiences he had while in the company of Biggie Smalls.
The most controversial information to come from Lil’ Cease was that while Biggie was contributing to Jackson’s This Time Around, which appeared on the 1995 album HIStory: Past, Present And Future Book I, he wouldn’t let sixteen year old Cease meet Jackson, as he didn’t trust the pop star around kids.
Lil’ Cease retold the story as follows: “I’m about to walk in and Big stops me an goes, ‘Hold up. Where you going?’ I’m like, N****, I’m coming in.’ He like, ‘Nah, I don’t trust Michael with kids.’ I’m like, ‘Huh?’ And he had the serious face, too. You know Big. He was real sarcastic. He was funny. He was just like, ‘Nah. Nah, dude. I don’t think it’s a good look. Just stay right here.”
