My love for fur is unparalleled. It runs so deep that my best friend Lauryn once said to me, “You should wear your pink fur,” and I replied, “Which one?” I tend to stick to faux fur and have never gone out of my way to intentionally wear a dead animal, but I do own a vintage coat that I suspect may have a bit of real fur on the collar.

I have a variety of different colours and lengths, the more outrageous the better. Most of them have names too, including Big Momma and Marlene, which makes it easier for those around me to distinguish the furs I’m torn between during an outfit crisis. People I know regularly predict which colour fur I’ll show up in and I genuinely mourn the end of winter because I can no longer wear a fur every day.
