Shakka is a veteran of the UK music scene, since releasing his first EP in 2009. He’s worked with artists like Wretch 32, Ella Eyre, AlunaGeorge and more, and has won multiple MOBO Awards and UMA Awards. He speaks to Lily about his Dominican heritage and the influence it has on his music, plus his experiences growing up in a musical family. Shakka also talks working with iconic producers, Banx & Ranx, plus his memories of the early British urban music scene.
