Following the release of the Stones Throw documentary Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton, the Peanut Butter Wolf owned label released a half an hour snippet of footage that didn’t make the film, appropriately titled Extra Special Loving For The People. One of the biggest talking points from the extracts was what Chicago born musician Kanye West had to say about how he felt that J Dilla laid down such a big benchmark for not only hip hop but music in general and that he feels he should carry on the legacy of Dilla.
