You may not believe me but I called this earlier in the year. Something about 2012 told me that one of the most grotesquely beautiful shoes of my teenage years would have a comeback.

Now it’s here I’m a little disappointed. The shoe looks the same with the exception of the black band rather than the original brown one. Personally, I would have kept the band brown but rounded the toe and thickened the heel. I think that would have been a more modern take on the classic Manolo Timb.
