London born photographer/filmaker, Will Robson Scott‘s documentary, Chi Raq is a harrowing portrait of the ever-increasing violence committed within the city of Chicago.

Scott uses interviews with gang-bangers, relatives of deceased victims and survivors of violence to create an insight into the lives of those living within the city, as well as exploring the avenues to how to break out of Chicago’s gang culture.

Clocking in at just under 15 minutes, Chi Raq is a short but poignant look at how a destructive inner-city culture is tearing lives apart, sadly with no real sign of an end.
